Melrick D. Calijan from the Municipality of Bindoy has won the title of Hari ng Negros: Ginoong Canlaon 2009 in Negros Oriental held last Saturday, June 27, 2009.

Melrick, 18 years old, was the tallest contestant in the pageant.
